Vista Greenway Tunnel to Link City Neighborhoods

Columbia city officials and community leaders opened the two-block first phase of the Vista Greenway Tunnel, and Mayor Steve Benjamin said the city continues to work on plans to extend the cycling and walking trail to the Three Rivers Greenway.

Phase one included cleaning up the former railroad tunnel under Washington Street, lighting the space, and paving the two-block stretch between Lady Street, under Washington Street via the tunnel, to Taylor Street. Read more
